Bag Filter Upgrade Project in Germany

AB Clean Air Solutions is pleased to support an industrial operator in Germany with the modernization and performance optimization of an existing bag filter system.

Bag filters are among the most efficient technologies for industrial dust removal and are widely used in industries such as cement, steel, non-ferrous metallurgy and other process industries. Over time, however, changes in operating conditions, dust characteristics and increasing production and flow rates can affect the performance of existing bag filter systems.

Instead of replacing the entire installation, targeted engineering upgrades and retrofit measures can significantly improvments. Within this project, the scope of work includes:

  • Engineering optimization of internal components to improve gas and dust distribution
  • CFD simulations to analyze and optimize the flow behavior inside the filter system
  • Removal of existing components and installation of upgraded mechanical parts
  • Implementation of ceramic wear protection in critical areas to extend equipment lifetime
  • These modernization measures help operators achieve stable plant operation, consistently low emissions, reduced wear within the bag filter, optimized pressure drop and improved long-term system reliability.
