High differential pressure (Δp), reduced filter bag service life, corrosion, recurring dust deposits, and insufficient filter cleaning performance are often indicators of more complex problems within a baghouse system.
The root causes are not always related to the filter bags themselves. In many cases, several factors simultaneously affect overall filtration performance, including process conditions, flue gas composition, frequent cold starts, air-to-cloth ratio, cleaning system performance, and the mechanical condition of the equipment.
